Hey guys, I recently found a list of tips for saving money on your flight training on m0a.com, a flight training website. They are very good tips, in my opinion and I wanted to share them with you guys. The tips are basically practices, that, if followed, will save you bags of money.

1) Chair Flying: Sit in a chair and mentally run through your emergency procedures or the flight maneuvers you are practicing, so you will be quick and proficient when it comes to real life.
2) Flight Frequency Fly at least once a week, so during the next lesson you won't have to relearn what was taught in the last lesson, saving valuable block time.
3)Self Learning Read, listen to, or watch informative materials to help you learn for yourself at home, a good example is an online ground school.
4)Choose the right instructor/school Don't fork over 2 grand to a brand new school, only to come next week for your first lesson to find a boarded up building.
5)Choose an affordable airplane Glass cockpits might sound awesome, but you get the same exact certificate in a Piper Cub, and you saved half the money.
6)Buy block time in bulk Many schools offer significant discounts for buying time in bulk, rather than by the hour.
7)The Flight Simulator If your reading this then you have that covered! The sim helps tremendously when it comes to practicing maneuvers .
8)Fly backseat with other students Many times, an instructor will let you backseat a lesson for another student for no charge, giving you time to take notes and study technique.

Hopefully these tips were useful in some way. Smiley
