The fun thing about this is that there really is no wrong way to paint a Cessna. I've seen Skyhawks and earlier models in all kinds of paint schemes at my local airport and on TV. If I can get some good reference shots, I'd like to try my hand at replicating the tiger striped Cessna Jump Plane featured in one of the old Frankie Avalon/ Annete Funicello Beach movies. Anyway, thanks for taking a look. Smiley

HA! I saw Beach Blanket Bingo a couple of weeks ago on Turner Classic Movies, and saw the Red and White striped Cessna 172. Laughed out loud! What a goofy flik!  Grin

I watched an episode of the RED GREEN show a week or so back and saw a Cessna floatplane that looked like it had been cobbled together from assorted wrecks! As for BEACH BLANKET BINGO, the guy sets that thing down on the beach or intentionally ditches it right near all those surfers-wonder what the FAA would have to say about that? Grin
