Well, I was working on painting for the screenshot contest and came out with this, but sadly they're not contest quality, so I put them here. This is actually my first attempt at making custom speculars and alphas for FSX. Anyway, it's painted much like the Goose at the smithsonian.
I'll try to get it up on SimV soon.
Any comments or suggestions about the paint or the photos are welcome.

Looks ok to me! Ive never done any of this specular stuff so i cant really comment on that!
Theres a few jaggies but im sure someone who knows FSX repainting will be able to offer some suggestions on that. FSX uses bigger textures than FS9 so i guess you can go quite high on the pixels per inch thing?

Looks good, I like the scheme.

Thanks!
And actually, they aren't really jaggies. They are actually just one pixel. It's that I took these at the lowest possible resolution I could use that causes that. i'll try to replicate them with a better quality and edit to replace them, so give me a few minutes.

I have a sudden brainwash Idea Club for your Contest entry
. PM me if you want to know
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Cool repaint, Club
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
