Can anyone explain to me why they used to (and still do having seen one the other day) put all those mirrors on scooters? I know they were mods and maybe not relevant but its always confused me a little.......

I always wanted to be able to put a "My other car is an F-14" sticker in my back window.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
