I'm waiting for the food processor like on Star Trek Next Gen.
Now where is that lazy smiley.
....
....!
Hello Larry....
I have a fantastic Braun Food Processor with a ton of attachments for it, together with a versatile Microwave Oven...
....neither of which ever get used!
As soon as I suddenly became an enforced Bachelor, over night, some 40-odd years ago, I quickly discover my new-found delight for; "Home cooking", which I have enjoyed, and perfected ever since!
With no Females to distract me, the loves of my life now include my Honda Motorcycle and my trusty Gas Oven....
....neither of which argue with me and/or give me grief!..
...!
So much satisfaction to be had in producing a "cheap/low cost" meal, to suit ones own palette to perfection!
Following in my footsteps, three of my married sons now enjoy daily cooking for their family!
A skill which every young boy should be encouraged to learn and enjoy, at school...
...!
(They never know when they may suddenly find themselves in enforced Bachelorhood again...and need to survive!)....
....!
Paul....slow cooked, Porridge Oats for Breakfast now!....
...!

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

I think you forgot to post the smily in your post, seeing as we seem to be using it for laziness recently.
And sadly, I'm clueless at cooking. Strangely, I actually prefer simple things to eat like just a simple bowl of cereal, a sandwitch, a pop tart or two, or maybe some instant macaroni and cheese or spaghetti'os.
For some reason, all the spices, and exotic flavors and tastes and stuff just kill it for me.

That's exactly how I am. A complex meal once in a while is fine, But all the time. Not for me.

...you like Spaghetti?
How about this then...
Last nights Supper Delight, whilst watching a film on the 'Tele: Spaghetti Bolognaise!
Quick method:
Spaghetti. Boiled for 8 minutes
Minced beef, browned in a non-stick saucepan.
Then add:...Chopped Garlic. Basil, (dried or fresh). Onion and Garlic Bolognaise Sauce.
Serve on a pre-warmed plate, with buttered crusty bread, and a drop of what you fancy!
All done in less than 20 minutes!
..and you can be proud that its all your own work!

You're reminding me of last year's entry in the community section of a local newspaper, '...shame on you who are hunting these animals. Go buy your meat at the market like everyone else where no animals were hurt'. Your cereal, sandwich (*I might accuse your spelling of such to be a Freudian), pop tarts and spaghettios are from harvested and processed sources.
Fozzer
's part in the harvest may be limited to his appropriation in his local market of choice; his cooking is the end processing. You toast or warm up, you're just reheating what was already cooked and, as with spaghettios, somewhat mushified. Also, since you're not eating raw carrots or berries and relying on processed grasses, you are presenting yourself with an accumulating threat to future problems; as of about a decade ago, the highest increase of type 2 diabetes was with teenagers. Most of the preprocessed foods you mention have the spices, which you mention an adversion to,
already
added; the worse feature is when unnatural or artificial ingredients get added and, subsequently, mix and mingle within your body. Your body will try to rid itself of the unwanted but, if that's all you stuff it with...

Better, but it gets out of hand a bit for me with all the stuff in the sauce. Just the noodles and plain sauce for me.

Like Fozzer's 4D with custard is any better! But I didn't understand much of what you said. And besides, that's only for my breakfasts and lunches, and
sometimes
dinner. But usual only breakfast these days.

Your Mum should be your guide to good shopping and eating habits (I hope!).
When I was at home, my Mum shopped for healthy food, and cooked healthy food for all our Family.
I subsequently took all my tips from her, and all my children have now taken their tips from me, and now are all excellent cooks...shopping and cooking for their families!
Hand-me-down Cooking tips!
