I found a similar aircraft to a Cassutt but just out of curiosity I had to suggest this aircraft since I did not find one on this site for any sim. My uncle had a Cassutt for a while, these are very unique small planes. I could lift the tail of the ground with one finger! They are very small planes intended for the Formula One race class or I have seen another class of racing called the "V- Class". My uncle is around 6ft tall so he barely fit inside his but he loved it. He said there are fully aerobatic capable albeit for an aerobatic plane they are on the underpowered side. Still, they are good for racin'!

The website above is owned and run by me and G-BOMB is my Cassutt Racer.

The Cassutt is an extremely popular Formula 1 Racer at Reno and has never before been modelled in Flight sim. There is a version for X-Plane but it flies nothing like the real aircraft.
The closest thing I've flown in FSX is the standard Extra however the Cassutt is lighter with less power and more slippery, it takes a bit longer to accelerate but will reach over 200mph straight and level and easily hit its VNE of 248mph in a shallow dive.

If someone is willing to build one for FSX I'm more than happy to provide pictures, cockpit footage in flight and lots of testing / tweaking of the flight model.
I've actually been hacking the Extra flight model and now have something that flies reasonably close to the real Cassutt. Modelling however is something thats beyond my abilities !

So thats you eh? Nice! My uncle has told me all kinds of stories about flying his Cassutt. He said it was a blast to fly but every time he landed he wanted to kiss the ground! He had the electric starter in his too so he didnt have to do the crazy bungy cord start. Its just such a unique little plane.
