Good catch with the Virgin A340....is that a regular movement now or filling in for a 747/A330?

I work just across from the airport and I've never seen it since so I'm guessing it was filling in, I see the A330 and 747 all the time.

We get Virgin A340's a lot here at SFO.  Air France and Lufthansa are flying their A380's here now too  Cool

Your lucky, that was the first a340 I'd seen in my life. Most the airlines keep their airbuses in London for the long haul flights.  We only really get a330s, 747s and a single emirates a380 here.
The biggest Lufthansa jet you'll see around here is a CRJ700 I'd love to see a a380 in their colours.
