OK we had a complete failure of the old board to upgrade. The new scripts cause the whole forums to crash yesterday.
After receiving completely wrong and useless support from the Yabb forums I decided to do a completely fresh install in a new location and transfer the old files into the new install.
So let's see if things work today.
(This is a kind of beta install)
I don't much like the layout of the new version. I will try to get a better template but one thing at a time.

Are you sure you were trying your latest pw?
I logged in OK with my old details .....
Thanks for testing another aspect though - now I know reset pw is working.

Yes -- I don't like it much either.
I will install a nicer template once I find one.
Meanwhile you can log into your User CP and change the template under Options.

Same here. especially with the twitches.
But to be completely honest, I liked all the old blue layout better. This one just looks, no offense but,
boring
.
And I don't like the old version either. I liked the one we had right before the update.
If anything, can we atleast get some color back into it and get the stuff about the person posting back on the left-hand side of thier post like it had been please?
And when on
earth
did I jump from silver member all the way to god member?!?!?!?

Whoa! Hold on! Just found an error in the mod!
I tried to make only the word especially in "Especially the twitches" All caps, no other words, and something popped up saying it was against the forum rules.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Hyperpep and Club508, have you heard of MSN Messenger, Skype or IM. They're great for having general conversations, usually a lot more convient and less annoying then using the SimV forums.

Yeah, we just got a PM form pete about that. Sadly, the only social things I have in my life are my email, this forum, and my big fat mouth.
We're going to try to keep it to PM's for now on.

It's fine if you are posting something relevent to the thread, and maybe a side comment or two after, but having a full blown conversation destroys the thread. It's called "threadjacking" and people that come to the thread looking for information get distracted by all the side chatter. That's why we have PM's here.
