Has it got some nozzles somewhere? or just that moving jet pipe thing? Bizarre!

It uses a ducted fan for lift up front:

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

F-35 can go supersonic! Harrier couldnt. Simple as that really. And it is still using one engine. Think of it like a helicopter for the lift fan.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I also noticed that in the Iris f-35 you cannot move the Afterburner up. I've tried Sad.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Hey guys, the nozzle move into the vertical takeoff position. Can I have some help? I honestly don't have a clue about how to switch the nozzles position.

Try this file --> http://www.simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=F-35+JSF+Afterburner+Mod&x=...

PS. Don't replace the Aircraft.cfg as instructed. Open the new file in Notepad & copy the complete [lights] section from it. Then open the original Aircraft.cfg & overwrite the existing [lights] section.

The last shot is really cool, the exhaust pointing downward. The only good VTOL I found is the payware Wilco Harrier.
