I love the stingray, but it bounces for me. Any solutions?

Great Shots! I like the ones of the folded wings and the one of it landing on water!

Thanks Chuck, the credits really deserve to go to the designer Simon Smeiman, I just happened to get lucky and be the 1st to introduce it to everybody here at Simviation! He did say feel free to do repaints so I do plan to do some repaints of it.
I've already got 16 diffrent paints made for it, and working on more. they're going through my tester right now.

Do you have the SP2 update installed? This plane will run without it but was designed to work best with the SP2 update....I only have the SP1 update myself and it bounces on me too but I just deal with it.
I've been banned for being an ill mannered imbecile with all the charm of a cocaine snorting Rottweiler.
I have difficulty seeing due to the massive floppy pink appendage growing out of my forehead and flopping in front of my eyes!

They're just colors, no decals, but I
may
have just figured out how to do some.

Well Club508 I'm a rookie to these re-paints and have only done one so far that came out right so even though I'm a master with Photoshop I'm still learning how to study these DDS files and use this DXTBpm program flip lettering etc. and this plane is chucked full of DDS files, but here is a screenshot of some Stingray logo's I was working on. Maybe me and you can team up and work on some re-paints, I could use a good teacher.

Sure!
Love to!
By the way, FSX reads extended DXT bmps just as well as DDS's. So basically, if you've done FS9 paints before, you can just do what you did then.

So your saying I can take a DDS file and convert it to a DXT BMP and it will still work? Do have to convert all the DDS's in the texture file or just they ones I'm editing? If that's the case then this whole flipping of the lettering is one less thing I have to deal with.

You just have to make the ones you're editing DXT bmp's. The other's can be DDS's. You can have any combination.

I strongly advise you guys to stop quoting. The word limit is running out
.
But otherwise I wish you luck repainting

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Good idea. And thanks!
But sadly, I wish I had that luck before. One repaint for it I was working on seems to have gotten corrupted.

Cool thanks for the heads up hyperpep111, and ok Club508 I'll try that out.

Trust me, it works. It's what I do with all my FSX paints.

This is my one and only repaint I did for my internet radio station Club508, it a AI Gulfstream G550 and it was all DXT BMP files so I didn't have to piece the the fuselage together or flip letters, I hate these DDS files!

and used the white re-paint one in the package.
