I been thinking to resume the Citation Sovereign
But
I really need to know if there is a payware release already, I watched this website where one of the main in FSX seems to be one
http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/
I much rather to start another think like a Gulftream V than make a model which is already other available with VC
I know for a fact that there is a freeware one but it doesn't have VC and was exported using FS9-SDK
Its very beautiful but I think most of the FSX and FS9 people rather use the VC
Please let me know if there is another model ..thanks
Alex

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

I would warn you if you are planning to do a Gulfstream model, the company will eventually send you a letter from their attorney telling you to stop work. They have almost everytime someone has posted screenshots online of a work in progress. Gulfstream is very protective of their image.

I think you have to make up a new name that has no relevance to Gulfstream cause companies/Celebrities have an annoying habit of suing for names that sound a little like theirs

There most definitely isn't a payware Sovereign. On the link you showed that's an Embraer Legacy

Why does it matter if there is a payware one? There are lots of version of many aircraft.
& what can they do about it? Not much if we don't back down because no money is being made in freeware
We already have many Gulfstreams in FS. Never heard a problem after years and many 10's 1000's downloads.
It's just lawyers trying to push non existent muscle (from their metaphorical 4 inch thick arms). We live in a different age. They tried it in the past when flightsim.com/peter tishma tried to stop freeware and get a license for all real world airlines in FS. They failed because the world of FS stood up (& then forgot) . They will always fail in the world of FS if we stand against them. They know that, but rely on feeble, 1st port of call characters giving in. So just don't give in. Ignore!
Go ahead Alex. Guaranteed it will be a hit. & If you get a lawyers letter (which you won't) - sent it my way.. or ... MUCH better .... simply tell them to come & see you in Venezuela - tell them how to get a taxi from the airport ....
Think Global. It's the world we live in.

That was an inspiring speech Pete! And I agree, forget Gulfstream, if you want to make it, then make it. But finish the Sovereign first please, I want it. If you need information, I can see what I can do for you

I agree!
As far as I can tell, modelling one of their aircraft falls under fair use laws.
It is an artist's rendition, and Gulfstream has no legal basis for preventing the flight sim community from producing freeware models of their aircraft.

I'd like to see a Sovereign...flying a Gulfstream in FS would be no fun because that would be supporting the sourness of the company.

Letting GS's lawyers strong-arm you would support the company's sourness more IMO.

Alejandro;
Ya-da, ya-da, ya-da with Gulfstream !!
You've already done the Citation, although not the S model.
Gulfstream can't prove any harm by an artist producing what can be represented as art.
Let them rattle their sabre. Buy them a drink if they come to Venezuela.
Do the Gulf. So very few are available...
