I have been checking out the Mid Atlantic Air Museum's long term restoration of a P-61 to flying condition and I was thinking..wouldn't it be awesome if there was a high quality P-61 for FSX (preferably SP2/Accel)? I found one for FS98 and CFS2, but again, I am thinking of a nice one for FSX with VC. I understand it takes an enormous amount of effort to make a high quality plane for FSX but that is why this is an idea. Or is there someone out there already working on this?

Kazunori Ito has one for FS2004/FSX but it's not native FSX. I don't know anything about this site, but I could not find it elsewhere and I don't remember where I got it.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Ito's P-61 is a very good model, however, it needs extensive reworking of the gauges. I don't know if there's FSX updated panel available. The VC is non-functional and may benifit (For looks)  from a repaint.  The only other issue is the props mask autogen and clouds (as opposed to disappearing behind them).

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
