Thanks all! The Super Sabre is a donationware aircraft from Sim-outhouse. I believe it is an FS9 aircraft, but has been converted by the guys at SOH for FSX.

Simon, the SHAR is Wilco's new one. I love flying this thing!

Awesome shots Rob Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Grin Yes indeedy, imho probably the most versatile, most beautiful looking warplane there is/was. I dont know what it is about it. I even built a few tamiya versions of it! Its up there with the tomcat, phantom and a few others in my eyes and wonderful to see in the flesh at RNAS Yeovilton in the museum. Proven in combat too. Excellent Smiley

Sad to see them go in yet another government set of cutbacks. We invent somthing so fabulous, develop it, then scrap it and go buy somthing else. At least this had actualy a long time in service.....

Skip over the pond and you can still see Harriers flying daily! MCAS Yuma is probably your best bet! I agree with ya Simon... there is just something about the look of the Harrier that I love. Plus, I just love how it sounds in a hover! lol
