Hello everybody, I recently just started having a problem with my flight simulator. During missions and only on missions,  while the people are talking their voice keeps cutting out and/or they repeat some things. It kind of sounds like you are in a crowed place with a lot of people talking if you want to describe it that way. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't fix my problem. Does anybody know what I can do because its very annoying.

Also, I have all ultra high settings and I get on average (depending where I'm at) 50-80FPS. Hopefully somebody can help me, thanks in advance.

Have you gone into the mission sound files and see if a WAV file play's correctly in your default media player? This could narrow down a culprit.

Take Care,

I am listening to some of the sound files now. They are all working the way they are suppose to. No cutting out or anything.

As for updates, to be honest I'm not sure how to do that. My computer does updates on its own but I don't know if it does it for the sound card.

have you installed any new sounds recently that might have came with a scenery or aircraft?

when you uninstalled, did you delete the registry entry as well as the FLIGHT SIMULATOR X file that is stored in your C:/MY DOCUMENTS ?   if not, then you could possibly have a "dirty installation". being that you did not remove those entries, and/or file, all you did was clean up the FSX ROOT FOLDER, you did not fully uninstall it.
