Added another Citation to the fleet tonight, the CJ1 from Eaglesoft. Nice little jet. I like the Mustang more, but this one can go further and faster. The Mustang is more of a pilot's airplane IMO, it just flies better, but the CJ1 is no slouch. Easy to fly, easy to operate.
To get settled with the plane, I flew from Wichita to Lawrence and back to Wichita
Shining in the sun
I'm not alone up here
After landing in Lawrence, I left about an hour later. The weather had turned. This brave pilot was flying patterns. He announced left pattern then turned right after the touch and go
Someone needs more training...
Sun is setting from the office. I'll admit, the plane feels dated. I wish it cost closer to $10 - $15 dollars, but at $20 it's not bad. Especially with how little options there are for business jets
I'd love to have a huge collection, but there just aren't many out there. Speaking of, if anyone has knowledge of a good CJ4, let me know. I want one BADLY!
Even though it's dated, it still works, flies well, and is easy on the computer (the Flight1 Mustang hits hard). However, flying into weather like this is never easy. 25-30 knot cross wind and raining. A severe thunderstorm warning had come on my TV as I began the decent, and since I live about 5 miles from the airport, I knew it was going to be interesting.
Comments, questions, criticisms, whatever you have is welcome! Thanks for looking

Nice. Feel bad for the 172 though
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Why? I still fly that. I just prefer jets when I want to get somewhere

He meant that the 172 called a left pattern, and then turned right...
Not sure why you think the CJ is dated... looks like a nice panel to me! There are lot of bizjets out there with much older avionics.
I also wish there was more payware bizjets out there... I'd love to get a nice Gulfstream or Global.
Nice shots though...

I meant the flight sim model is a bit dated
It's been available for a long time now, and it's not quite up to snuff with the latest out there.
I'd like a Gulfstream as well, I find it very odd that there aren't any available (there aren't many freeware ones either) considering how much everyone loves Gulfstreams

Unfortunetly, Gulfstream don't allow the use of their aircraft in FlightSim. Its a real shame considering they are a really nice looking aicraft.

I like Gulfstream's windows and how small their wing-fuselage fairings are. If I'm honest, their newer planes (550/650) are a little ugly when you look close because they have camera's for their synthetic and enhanced vision systems. Their windows are ENORMOUS! 24 inches wide I believe
Of course when you break it down to window area per cabin length, it isn't as impressive, but it's still big.

Very nice Jake.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
