Hi!
Just to leave you with some screenshots of what's to come:
S-46N Blackfish

Carrier born jammer aircraft.
Diferences from the default Orca, aside from the modified exterior:
New HUD with touchscreen function for carrier ops and Jammer ops.
More powah! That's always a good thing.
Droppable droptanks.
Works with AI carriers.
The bugs that were in the first release of the S-46 are gone, for example, the landing lights now work in VC view.
Just waiting for Mike Durao to finish the texture pack and then it's good to go.
Oh, and here's a little image editing:

Oh, and thanks for the positive reviews on the S-46A/S Orca!
Up is the way to go.

Looking good but please don't link images from other sites, it slows the forum down for other users
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Oh. Welcome Xpand. I am a huge fan of your work.
Too bad I cant see those pics all i see are Frog that tells you to register
. If you need help on uploading your pictures to SimV there are tutorials on the site.
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Cool shots.....have you added a tail hook?????
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks!
Yeah, I remodeled most of the exterior to make it a carrier born aircraft. It has a tailhook, launch bar and folding wings.
Then it has an extendable Magnetic Anormality Detection (MAD) probe (controled via HUD) and ECM jammers (just have to make something to show that they're on/off inside the cockpit).
Up is the way to go.

Awesome........I tried adding a virtual hook in the Cfg. file........it doesn't work for me
Have you uploaded your modified version anywhere?
I like the aircraft a lot.......I just wish that I could do carrier landings with it
Thanks
Chuck

It's still not complete. I'm waiting for Mike to make the texture pack. He's a bit busy with work right now... It shouldn't take long...
I always release my planes here, in first place.

Oh and by the way, How's your f-22 going? From what you said on Youtube It's going to give IRIS a run for their money
.

It's stopped actually... I've been doing that plane for 3 years and, honestly, I can't look at it without feeling angry at myself for starting it... It's like a demotivator that makes me change my mind every time I say: "This is it, I'm going to finish that godforsaken F-22 today!"
My objective was to make a F-22 for FSX, long before Iris even thought about it.. Of course, when Iris' plane came out, I immediatelly heightened the intended detail level for that plane. I can honestly say that, in terms of modeling and texturing, the plane is almost at Iris' level of detail, though all the gauges are undone and lots of details still need to be added...
Actually, let me show you two pics inside gmax:
(Had to upload it externally 'cause I couldn't open the simv uploader)

Sooo. Whats wrong with that
? Just take your time with it. even an extra 2 years there is no deadline
. It looks great. When I get frustrated when doing something, I generally do something else until I cool down and take a break from the frustrating program/thing
. Oops off topic.
Love your orca
. And I'll love your Raptor just as much even more
.
