I just started having an issue with my Cyborg X joystick with both FS9 and FSX. The rudder calibration is off, but when I exit either sim and go to the control panel, it is correct. But if I enter the calibration menu in the sim, it shows the rudder center being to the right, and the movement left and right is odd. This issue cause flying to be almost impossible, since the rudder is always deflected 1/4 to the right, and it is overly sensitive to the left.
I have tried restarting the computer, the sim, installing new drivers from Saitek, unplugging and replugging the joystick, to no avail.

Yeah, but it doesn't fix the issue. I am still trying to figure out if this is a hardware or software glitch. What I have done for now, just to keep simming, is disable the rudder axis. Everything else on the stick works fine.
Right now I am trying to decide whether or not to buy another stick. I wish Microsoft still had their Sidewinder series, my old Sidewinder lasted for 8 years and three different computers. I replaced it with a Logitech that lasted 2-3 years, and now this Saitek that is less than 2 years old. The choices for a decent sim stick with throttle have gotten pretty tight these days. If my computer was set up at a desk like normal, I would probably opt for a yoke and throttle setup, but I fly in my living room.
