Does anyone know where this file is located? I found a logbook file called LOGBOOK. It is an IZarc.bin file that I cannot open. I tried using IZarc to open and copy to another file but it said it was empty yet the IZarc.bin folder says there is 31KB of data in it.
I need to unistall and reinstall FSX and I would like to keep my previous log records.

Thanks

It depends on what OS you are using.  For Win7 it is at

c:\Users\Your Name\My Document\Flight Simulator X Files

It is a .bin file and you can not open it with notepad or any kind of program that opens text files.

You can go to the avsim library and download Lamont Clarks' logbook editor in the FSX utilities section.

You can make a copy of your current Logbook.BIN and when you reinstall FSX, run it first, than before you restart it, replace the new Logbook.BIN whit your copy.

You also might want to save copies of your current GrantedRewards.BIN and GrantedRewardsOld.BIN which will be in your doc&set/yourname/apps/micro/FSX folder, and replace the new ones with your copies same as above.
