Good afternoon all and a rainy one it is... Smiley

Well I got playing with the Cessna 337 Skymaster in FSX and the panel was just not right for me.  The aeroplane in FS 2004 for which the aircraft was designed for I think looks good.

So I got playing around a bit and I replaced the FSX aircraft panel with the FSX Default Baron 58 panel.

It works for me... Wink

The Cessna 337 Skymaster like all aircraft needs to be flown with an eye on engine guages and during the production run different panel configurations were used.

Different new owners also had their kick at the Skymaster when upgrading the aircraft so here are a couple of shots I did.

Cessna 337 Skymaster...1963 to 1982
-six seats
-Range...7644 miles plus
-Powerplant...2 Continental 10-360C Piston Engines
                     210HP

Beechcraft Baron 58...1970 to date
-six seats
-Range...942 miles plus
-Powerplant...2 Continental 10-520 or 10-550
                     300HP

FSX and Vista
Original Aircraft by Mike Stone

Sorry for the poor quality of actual cockpit shots in the last two pictures...

An evening approach using the FSX Beechcraft Baron 58 Panel...
...

The Cessna 337 Skymaster on final...
...

An evening approach using the Garmin 1000 available right here at Simviation Downloads...FSX>Props
...

An actual Beechcraft Baron 58 Cockpit...there were other configurations like most aircraft...
...

An actual Cessna 337 Skymaster Cockpit and again there were other configurations...
...

Think I heard there was a Payware Cessna 337 Skymaster for FSX being developed...not sure... Smiley

Comments and Advice most welcome... Smiley

Very nice looking shots Smiley  Keep up the good work Wink  And you heard right, Carenado is creating a Cessna 337. By the looks of the previews, I'd say they're close to being finished.

Thanks Jake... Smiley

I just checked Carenado's Site and the model is in the testing stage so I would think it would be out by this Christmas or sooner.

Also could not find any other information on their site of what is being modelled for the near future... Smiley
