I got the AC working finally. The system was over charged and it was causing itself to shut down. Grin

the subaru will be your best bet. The matrix is also very good. awesome in the snow, but slightly smaller than the outback. the pontiac vibe has the same engine as the matrix and will save you some moula because it's a pontiac.
