Did you hear the story of the minister who saw the weather report of heavy rain and that his part of town was going to flood? He told his family they wouldn't leave until he got a sign from God.

As it started raining very hard a police car came by and told him they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.

After the first floor of his house flooded a boat came by and told him they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.

After the second floor flooded and they were all on the roof, a helicopter came by and said they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.

Then they all drowned.

At the Pearly Gates he berated God--- "I trusted you. Why didn't you send me a sign?" God replied, "Well, I sent you the weather report, the police car, the boat and the helicopter. What exactly did you want?"
