Good morning Mark... Wink

Well I looked at these shots several times and have came to the conclusion I don't like the style... Tongue

As a matter of fact most sports cars are ugly to me...well except the old MG... Smiley

Now if they want style they need to just look at the old 1963 Model 88 Land Rover...now that is class...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_Series

It also flies...have seen them air dropped by the airforce... Wink

We have owned several different models of the Land Rover as well as the Rover Car...never ever had a problem with them and the best off road vehicle produced... Wink

Have a great day Mark... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

I love the pre-Mk III Landies but lets be honest Doug, they possess all the aerodynamic qualities of a 1930's art deco cinema Grin Grin Grin

The new Land Rover Mark lacks style in my opinion...too much of an SUV thing and not enough Off Road into the bush, across ponds etc. thing... Smiley

The Rover Car which we owned several was fabulous.  When I flew out of Toronto Airport I would drive the two hour drive back and forth and that car never let me down once. Snow, rain, sleet, hail and the heat of summer that Rover got me to my trusty winged steed... Wink

One felt right at home getting out of the car and strapping on an aircraft.

Now the old MGs...well there was class also.  Not just class but the freedom of like riding a motorcycle except on four wheels or the feeling one gets from flying a  DeHavilland Tiger Moth around the cabbage patch...  Wink
What a car!... Wink

The Flying Car...HMMM...think we have a ways to go yet Mark...
(1)...drivers need an Attitude Adjustment
driving  is a Privilege and not a Right
(2)...the machine needs to be able to takeoff and land
like a helicopter or Harrier Jet to be of any true
        benefit
(3)...licenced operators with at least a Private Pilots Rating
(4)...size
able to carry four with luggage and have good range
able to fit in a standard single car garage

Now instead of building a glorified ultra light that does not need a trailer to get back and forth to a runway I think we would be farther off to look at something that will take off and land from one's own driveway and still fit in the garage... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

They really are wonderful cars, my grandfather used to own a 1967 MGB Mark II in British Racing Green...occasionally he would drop me off and pick me up from school in it. It was fantastic fun...even as a passenger. Cool

If insurance rates weren't so high, I would buy one in a heartbeat. You can buy a nice, rust free, chrome bumper version for about $6500 to $8000 around here. Kiss
