I couldn't stand it any longer......I missed the sale Capt. Sim had a on July 5th, but I've wanted the Driver since it came out. So, I broke down and payed full price for it
CAPT. SIM
Here's some shots from the first flights.....repaints from
NATH'S REPAINTS
Very spacious.......and detailed VC
Cool engine smoke effect
This repaint is my favorite....it's called "Special Kay"
Open bay doors
Thanks 4 looking
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Wonderful shots of a beautiful bird Chuck.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Chuck, I love that aircraft! It's so beautifully modeled. It looks like you may have had to turn graphics down a little for FPS, though, huh?
I went outside once. The graphics weren't all
that
great.

Strawberry Yogurt, I didn't make any graphics adjustments or notice any FPS drop with this plane

Oh thank God, in #5 it looks a bit blurry to your standards, but that hardly is important. Glad to know that, Captain Sim's models are usually quite FPS consuming...

I think it has something to do with the zoom level......since the aircraft is so large

Great job Chuck, the shots are amazing!
This B52 is fun to fly, although I think it is way overpowered... I have a tough time slowing this beast down for landings

Thanx Chuck! Another 'self gift' for my upcoming B-Day!
Cool shots BTW!
I almost popped on this one when I got the email newsletter advertising the "24 Hour Sale".
After seeing your shots though, it appears that this unit is worth full coin!

Just to the left of the yolk there is a panel for the radar......be warned though.....when I turn it on, I drop about 6 fps???? I can live without it.....don't know what the problem is....maybe it's just my set up.

Thanx Chuck for the tip. Finally found it!
Unfortunately! A little while after that an intermittent problem I'd been having lately went full-blown terminal.
My HD went out. I have no idea where it went, but it's gone.
So now I'm left with my laptop, and no FSX, til I get it to the doctor and they cure it.

Or maybe you were yust yolking? Yah, dat coold be eht.
Aside from that.....should be up and running soon. Dropped it off at the "doctor" earlier.
HOPEFULLY! Some/most/all of it's contents can be recovered! My goofy self had not run a full backup in a while and it's been about a long time since I 'disconnected' the auto-backup thingie to my 1TB EHD cause it was saving way too much useless garbanza.

Excellent shots! I already have the external version... but man, I need to just upgrade to the Driver version now!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
