I love military aviation so I downloaded the FSX Weapons Pack. After I got it set up, I tested it and it worked. When I was setting up a new flight with the weapons pack, it froze and when it came back up the controls on the key board seemed to lag and freeze up occasionally. Secondly, when I right clicked nothing came up, so I couldn't access the menu bar.
After a while (after many FSX and computer restarts) I got frustrated and I finally re-installed. I thought it worked at first, but then it the same problem came up again.
I've re-installed about two times now and I considering quitting FSX until I get a new computer. I really need help!

I'm sure one of the members, 99.2% of which are way more knowledgeable than me, will be along shortly.
In the meantime.....it sounds to me like you're having the same difficulty I had before I was fortunate enough to upgrade. Your overloading the stuffing out of your current system.
With that in mind, let me ask what someone else will before too long:
What are your current system specs?

Hi
I presume you mean
this pack
?
In the instructions is states it is IMPORTANT to follow the installation exactly -- & this usually means what it says otherwise you may get crashes, etc.
Have you removed the files entirely and if you edited the FSX files as stated you need to revert them to what they were before. (when editing files in Notepad always create a copy 1st in case you mess up. An easy way to do this is - Right click the file - Copy - then Paste into the same folder. You will get a 'Copy of ....' )
If you have messed up wholely and cannot revert to your original files you may just have to reinstall FSX (no big deal unless you have lots of complex addons)
If you are confident you installed and edited the files correctly it may be an idea to contact the author who may be aware of this problem.

I'm pretty sure I haven't altered it, but I already re-installed FSX two times.
I don't know if it is the weapons pack or if it's just coincidence, but it keeps happening
.

What are your specs?
& when you 'reinstall' are you completely removing the old FSX and rebooting before reinstalling?
If it previously worked OK you should be able to get it to work OK again. Despite what some people will tell you, FSX will run fine on many very average systems.

I'm not sure what my specs are but I've been deleting many unused scenery and aircraft.
When I re-install the same files seem to come back despite when I play the game everything is default.

You have to delete every single bit and byte of FSX, including SP1, SP2, or Acceleration, in order for a comlpete reinstall to be successful.
You have to look everywhere, even if you manually uninstall and especially if you use the FSX disk uninstallers, for any trace of FSX.
Anything left uninstalled and/or undeleted will mess ya up every time when you go to reinstall!

You don't need to delete addons. Make sure you uninstall using the add/remove Programs in your control panel (assuming you are not already using another uninstall utility)
Then reboot your PC.
Your PC specs can be found
W7 in Control Panel - System and security - System - View Ram and Processor
XP - in Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - See basic information about your computer

dont forget to delete the FSX FOLDER found in your C:/Users/(user name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX -- it is this folder that contains your FSX.CFG.
also, you will need to delete the "Flight Simulator X" folder in your C:/Users/(user name)/My Documents
as well as uninstalling FSX via the Control Panel / Add and Remove Programs.
You may also want to download CCleaner from
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/download/653229ccb81ae1f2efd8598d8028...
; and tell it to scan your registry so that ALL FSX traces will be removed/fixed. -- it also would not hurt to clean out your system of all the unwanted/unneeded junk too.

It's still not working.
I deleted every thing. Both FSX in my documents and in the Microsoft Games file.
I don't know what to do next.
