Hello,
BN, as you may know, started with a fleet of a single 747, N601BN. It provided daily 747 service between DFW and HNL. When BN was approved for daily service between DFW and London, N601BN was moved to that route and a 747 was leased from AA, N9666.
Rampers called her "Fat Alcoa" or "Tin Lizzy" and for a few years this bird made the daily between DFW and HNL as BN flight 501/502.
I am attempting to locate a painter who would be willing to re-create N9666 in the hybrid colors she wore while with BN. Simply, the red/white/blue cheatline was painted in pumpkin orange, and the grey tail had the large "BI" painted on it in black. She also carried black titles in the BN font.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me out in this endeavor.
I have included a couple of links to images of N9666 as she appeared in the hybrid colors while with Braniff.
