The Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler is a twin-engine, mid-wing electronic warfare aircraft manufactured by Grumman as a modification of the basic A-6 Intruder airframe. The EA-6B has been in service with the U.S. Armed Forces from 1971 through the present, during which it has carried out numerous missions for jamming enemy radar systems, and in gathering radio intelligence on those and other enemy air defense systems. In addition, the EA-6B is capable of carrying and firing anti-radiation missiles (ARM), such as the Shrike missile and the HARM missile. The aircrew of the EA-6B consists of one pilot and three Electronic Countermeasures Officers.

Great pic! Very nice aircraft too. If you don't mind, where can we find this aircraft?

I believe I found it here on simviation.com. I have downloaded from a few different sites, so may have found it somewhere else.

I think it might be Payware from Abacus but I'm not sure  Undecided

EA_6B
http://www.abacuspub.com/platinum/catalog/s707.htm

Only reason I think it might is it looks very similar to an aircraft model I got with Flight Deck 4 which is made by abacus

...
It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed

I'm pretty sure that's an Abacus aircraft........if you could provide a link to show that it's freeware (only freeware aircraft and scenery allowed as per rule 7.....Entries may be of freeware aircraft and scenery only! This keeps the playing field even!)
.......the model is definately not from here at SimV....or I can't find it??? Smiley

Thanks,
Chuck

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I don't have Flight Deck so I guess someone may have posted it up somewhere.  Sad  I really liked the pic too. Well wouldn't have the foggiest where it came from. I will try and scour my history and see if i can get you all a link. I have no aftermarket add-on's so I know it was not bought. After looking at the link that was posted, I know mine does not have the Dragon on the tail.

If it has to go I will understand. As long as the community thought it was cool,  I guess that's what this whole thing is really about.

You can tell by reading the texture folder - how many textures are there?

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
