How's this Chuck? I went back to the original and cropped it differently.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Awesome........the sky looks very foreboding
I don't want to be nit picky
......but, I think it looks a little better with some foreground cropped out
Hope you don't mind me altering your shot Larry

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks Chuck.
Don't mind you altering the shot, but it was already cropped and I feel the level you cropped it makes it too small in height. Maybe if I had used a different view where the aircraft was
more in the bottom of the shot showing more sky. Constructive criticism is always welcome, I just reserve the right to agree or disagree.

Agreed
You make a good point about the height to width ratio..........it is a little skinny

Great shot!
I tend to do the same thing, and crop more of the runway and keep more of the sky and clouds. Unless of course the runway looks really cool
But you are right, after all the author takes the shots he likes and beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Looks great Larry........I think it's perfect .......just enough crop, and the plane has more of a presence now
