Where is a good place to fly military aircraft?  I typically fly at FS-MP but they dont allow military and you get kicked if you try.  I would like somewhere where the kids arn't running into you and there are some general rules.  Anyone know of such place?

There is one such place that I know of called the United States Virtual Air Forces (USVAF).  We have our own database of planes, and helicopters, and if you cant find it in our database then feel free to fly what you can find elsewhere.  When you join, you are given a choice of what 'branch' you want to belong you... AIR FORCE, ARMY AVIATION, AIR COMBAT (MARINES), NAVY, COAST GUARD.  Even though you get assigned to 1 group, you can fly any missions you want with any other group, we dont care.

We also have a rank structure with periodic testing to advance to the next rank, as well as possible spot promotions to Wing Commanders under a branch, as well as Branch (MAJCOM) Commanders.

I have been with the group now for about 5 years, maybe 6, and am the "Director of Plans and Operations" in Headquarters, but I am also part of the Air Force for the USVAF.

One of my main missions and responsibilities is to come up with at least 1 flight a month for EACH branch for them to fly, as well as other flight ideas, and I oversee Training Operations.  You as a Pilot, will have the authority to come up with your own flights if you so wish and post them to our forum and message board, and YOU be the Pilot in Command of that flight (even the GENERALS will follow your general commands, as long as they are within reason and not belittling anyone or highly rude).

We are a group of Flight Sim enthusiasts who like to get together and fly Military craft in a Military setting.   If you would like to check us out, please feel free to check out our website.... Http://www.usvaf.com   We would be honored to fly with you in the Virtual Military Skies.

As one who flies On-Line in Multiplayer every day for the past 10+ years, I am always surprised that so few Pilots here seem to be on line, enjoying the experience!... Roll Eyes...!

With my/our FS 2002 and FS 2004, I/We enjoy selecting a particular Multiplayer Server, and connecting via FS Host.

I/ We pick a quiet Server in the list, where we know that no one is going to crowd our airspace with their annoying antics!

The dedicated Sim V Server is ideal for that purpose...>>>

Don't forget, its "Password Protected" to exclude any annoying riff-raff, (sorry Chums, but there are some/many around!), to allow sensible? Pilots to enjoy their flights, Solo, or Multiplayer.

So...come on, Chaps, go on-line Multiplayer, and enjoy the company of other like-minded Pilots. You know you will like it!

Paul....FS 2004...FS Navigator...G-BPLF... Cool...!

P.S...of course, if your are into shooting and bombing things for real, in Multiplayer, there's always... Wink...>>>

Works a treat... I die every time!
