Does anyone know if there are any add on bridges for new scenery that you can actually drive across. I have various cars, jeeps, and hummers and it sure would be nice to be able to drive across a bridge instead of slewing my vehicle to the other side.

Welcome to SimV,
For FS2004 or FSX?

FS2004 Dave. would appreciate any info or knowledge on this situation. I know a bridge you can drive a vehicle across is not impossible to build but, I have not run across one so far.

Federoff,
I was hoping you would say FSX. FSX has a new object(s) called 'extrusion bridges' that can be hardened.
For FS2004: I've never found any bridge library objects, default or add-on, that have a hardened surface.
As for building one, it's possible with Gmax (and FSDS I believe) but that's way beyond my 'expertise'. An example is the landable Hood River bridge add-on scenery from Hovercontrol.com. (HRBridge.zip)
It is possible to lay a hardened surface, like a string of hardened helipads, just beneath the surface. I have experimented with that in the past, but it is a tedious job, even with a 'live view' object placer like EZ-Scenery or Instant Scenery.
