The RealAir Duke has been on my wish list for a while now. And the combination of Dave's post and RealAir offering both the turbine and piston
package $10 off of buying them separately, I could no longer resist.
Brisbane to the Gold Coast.
Part II
Thanks for looking.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Great shots Larry........that is one impressive looking aircraft
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks Chuck.
It's a winner.

It sounds great Justin. I have yet to start cold, so I don't know how it sounds winding up yet, but I've shut it down several times. And listening to it wind down is music to my ears.
Edit: I just did my first cold and dark, and it sounds wonderful winding up.

My local flying club has a Duke, so I've been lucky enough to see one fly. Its such a sleek/fast looking aircraft, very nice.
