My X52 Pro is acting up.  About six months ago the cheep cable they supplied it with that goes from the throttle to the joystick became positional.  It would cut out mid flight and would only work in a very limited few spots.  Now even plugged in the joystick doesn't light up.  Its about 14 months old (I dont know hours on it, but I have got quite a few flights in with it).  Even though I am starting to think Saitek controls are junk, I am interested in their X-65F.  Has anyone had any luck with them.  They cost almost as much as a real plane.  Has anyone else bought one?  Likes / Dislikes?  Anyone know a place to get a X52 pro rebuilt?

If your handy working with small wire connections this vid may be of some use. I've repaired my cheapo AV8R stick a few times simply because our stores don't have many sticks on the shelves and when I buy a stick I like to check it out physically before I pay for it.
