Goodly evening all... Smiley

Who knows what the heck is going on within Simviation?

Well if you folks don't know I think I do...

First I know very very little about these electronic gizmo things and have little interest in taking a computer course to learn...

It has taken me five plus decades and then some to learn a little about aviation, and I am still learning something new all the time.

You know they have women airline pilots now and some of these aircraft don't have propellers either.... Shocked
AWW but that is another couple of stories...

Now most of you know I do not use Payware, no, not until I find out more about this new Microsoft Flight that is going on line.

So me and this electronic gizmo which hates me try to get along with Freeware and all the help we both can get.

One only needs to take a look at the Graphic Gallery>Simviation Screenshot Showcase to see what the heck has been going on the last couple of days.  Posts by Flying Trucker is a start...

Stephane "Daube" along with many many other folks have helped me tune this computer to one of the finest without the use of Payware... Smiley

That in itself says something about a forum which is Simviation.
Many members search different forums for advice or attention.
Simviation is different, now mind you it is the only forum I belong to but it is different.
Simviation is a forum where some of the members are dedicated to making Flight Simulation better whether it be through Payware, Freeware or giving their time and knowledge to folks like me who really know very little about computers or what some of the membership are talking about when it comes to computer talk.

We have a diverse membership and in many ways.
Age, skill, education, computor knowledge, work experience and perhaps one of our greatest attributes is we are all from the four corners of the world.

Those of you who are worried you might ask a Stupid Question...don't.

There are no Stupid Questions left, I have asked them all... Smiley

You want help then PM someone or ask it in one of the forums like right here.

It does not matter whether you are young or old, new or an old hand, you are going to get help at Simviation.

Simulated Aviation is your hobby or you would not be here, so be part of a great forum, jump in, leave a message or comments but get involved.  You will be surprised what you can learn in just a couple of days.

So that is what has been happening within Simviation the last couple of days folks, my Blasted Electronic Gizmo got Tuned and I am still Sober... Shocked      Roll Eyes     Grin

P.S.
Thanks for all the help folks... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II
