Hello all!
It's been a long time, I don't even know if anyone around here remembers me anymore but I was pretty active about 4-6 years ago, with a different account and a few name variations (Jakemaster originally). College caught up and I had to put flight sim (as well as many other things) aside to get it all done.
Now, I'm graduating in 2 weeks with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and starting a new job as an engineer at Cessna in 3 weeks, and as soon as I get settled one of the first things I plan on buying is a new computer so I can get back into the hobby that inspired me to get this far. I'll probably try to get started in a couple of months, need to save some money (and buy a new car), but I thought I would stop by and say hello, and start browsing the forums again to get my mouth watering

Hi Jake, I remember you. Long time-no-see. Congrats on graduating and bigger congrats on landing a job right away, most people aren't that lucky.
Listen, once you get settled in there at Cessna I have a few suggestions. I'll contact you later about it.
Oh! And welcome back to Sim V!

Would that be like remembering someone the Texas winds blew to Kansas?
Gone with the wind for a time, perhaps, but not forgotten.

Before my time Jake, I've only been here a couple of years. But welcome back. And congrats on the degree and job.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks guys.
I'll take requests, but I have a few suggestions of my own first
However, I have become known for being, ahem, unconventional

Ah, this would be for the most unskilled aircrews? So they wouldn't see what they were headed into --
especially when their electronics and opticals go awry?

Pilots are just so needy...they always want oxygen and space and air conditioning, so I kicked 'em out.

So, either it's so that passengers can't see when/where they're crashing... or this aircraft is strictly for other lethal use?

It's meant to launch a satellite...carries an 18 foot long, 2600 pound rocket to 40,000 feet and launches it into orbit.

Well now that the real world is finally settling, I should be back for good.
And Jared, I have to buy a new car before I buy a new computer
