Goodly afternoon all... Smiley

That is what I forgot...to go to the Weather Office... Roll Eyes    Shocked

FSX & Vista
HDE Clouds
Aircraft: Piper J3 Cub
Location:  In a thuderstorm me thinks... Grin
Time:  Dawn
Mostly all Freeware right here at Simviation... Wink

Bugsmashing about in the rain...FSX does not portray rain very well...
...

Ooh...Lightning or atmospheric electricity...either one is much prettier seen from a real aircraft...
...

Electrics and cockpit lights...what do I need those for?
I have lightning... Smiley
...

Now cut that out Mother Nature...
You are going to scare the hamsters to death and then I will be stuck up here all day... Roll Eyes       Grin
...

Comments and Advice most welcome... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Very nice Doug! I especially like the last shot!  Smiley

I use water configurator along with REX.

For nice results use night water for night flights and Orion's favorites for dawn to dusk flights. If you use REX too, even better!  Wink

Happy flying, Greg  Cool

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Great shots Doug....I like the second one because of how you caught the lightning reflecting off of the Cub. Very Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
