Good afternoon all...
Two different seaplanes delivering their passengers a day early to the cruise ship...
FSX and Vista
FS Water Configurator...set to default
3D Lights
HDE Clouds
Location: Nanaimo...CAC8...Water Docks...
Beautiful British Columbia...Canada
Aircraft: Dornier Seastar
Fun to fly....
Republic RC-3 Superbee
Also fun to fly....
Mostly all Freeware right here at Simviation...
Nanaimo seaplane/floatplane docks...there are other docks...
Glassy Water can require a longer takeoff run...there probably is very little wind so watch those sailboats who are under sail...they won't be able to maneuver as quickly and they have the right of way...
You are a day early Sir...looks like she is just docking...
Oh no Sir...those were not individual cabins...that was a container ship...we are just going down the slot now...
Your a day early Sir and there she be...
Comments and Advice most welcome...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

More great shots of neat airplanes Doug.........where do you come up with these odd balls????
Wherever they come from.....keep it up
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Very cool Doug, love #3 & #4.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks Chuck and Larry for the comments...most appreciated...
I have not purchased any Payware to-date as a neighbour bought a new computer system with Windows 7 and now is having problems with his FSX....
Waiting to see what happens there and still searching for Freeware...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Your shots, commentary and vast knowledge are the highlight of my SimV visits Doug, Thanks!
FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II
