I don't know which scares me more, the prop or the seat. (Looks easy to fall out of) The article doesn't say but these are made for take off from water. (and maybe snow )

Something tells me this is a marketing stunt or some such thing. The website here is just stills and the same craft in different colours. Youtube is just a video of website stills with some music. Delivery in the 3rd quarter and no interviews, no video of it flying, no marketing push, no shots of production, lots of nothing really. My guess, some students doing a marketing project.

Matt

Found a video of it on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_209700969058778 Like the recent "we have found an alien in the snow video", just enough shown to not really show that much. Still sceptical.

I did a few searches also. Couldn't find them listed at the Aero 2011 show.. The links in their own website don't work...

           ...

And, apparently, no one seems to have the kahonas to fly it and show it off.

Edit: I just read that they haven't flown yet because there is still icecover in finland.

According to this article at EAA, it was at the Aero show. I'm still skeptical too though...

Interesting machine, but I'm worried it will appear in a hip-hop video, which will lead to a re-enactment of the pocket-bike and pimped-out quad craze, only in the air this time ... !

Right. The idea of it being viewed as a "flying jet ski" is pretty scary...  Undecided

No worse than the Transition, in my opinion... except there are videos of the Transition flying.

Not being an ultralight, the Transition would require a pilot's certificate; not just any dumbass could fly it (legally).
Let's just hope the Transition pilots are better drivers than most pilots!!  Wink  Cheesy
