UTX installation problems (Read 526 times)

I recently bought the Ultimate terrain X Europe addon, but imediatly after installing I get an error message that it isnt installed right. When I choose to reinstal, I dont get the message again, but I except from blurred and out of focus ground textures, I dont see any difference with the normal FSX-scenery.
I do have UTX upgraded to 1.4 and already tried to instal it on a fresh installation of only windows and FSX, but with no noticable difference.

Does anyone know what goes wrong and how to fix this?

I don't haver UTX.....but, I have Ultimate Alaska X.
Inside your main FSX folder there will be a folder called Flight One Software (assuming that they set it up the same as UAKX). Inside this folder are your UTX files. Look for the Set Up application in and run it. There will be many options.....maybe some of them are turned off fror some reason. Just a shot in the dark

Also, is FSX installed on your system in the default location??
