Test flight of the Enstrom 280FX currently in development by Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations for FS9 and FSX. (screenshots taken in FSX) This model was originally being developed by Alan Devins before he left FS development. We obtained the source files and are finishing this beauty off.

Ooh! Nice looking bird. Nice shots too Brandon.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks guys!
@ Chuck: We're hoping it will be sometime soon. The exterior is mostly done...VC still needs some work though. It's progressing well.

Wow!
I didn't know you liked editing shots!
That bird looks fantastic, let us know when it's done. I hate to be picky but I HATE (well, hate is maybe to strong a word) when parts of the VC are left a blank color! Textures are the key! Have fun with it, take your time, and let us know when it's released. Great shots, again!
I went outside once. The graphics weren't all
that
great.
Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.

The detail, textures and livery look outstanding
FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

I believe I have a picture of this aircraft taken by my grandpa hovering over a lake taken in the 80's.
Here it is.

That appears to be an Enstrom F-28C.
