Good evening folks...
Just a quick note as I am not feeling well.
If you all remember last September and October I had two visits to the hospital for Kidney Stones.
Well it would seem they THINK I have another stone. Been in pain for three days but I hate to go to the doctors and hospital. This morning I had no choice...it hurt like oh heck and the doctor gave me heck for waiting so long...I remember bouncing him on my knee when doctoring with his old man...no respect for his elders...
-Been X Rayed...they can't see it
-Blood taken twice
-IV in arm with pain killer...felt great
-I now have two pills that would choke a horse and if I develop a fever I am to report back for more scans.
That is why I am late getting on to-day.
Now the kicker...if you don't see me on line for a couple of days don't worry...I do not intend to buy the farm or leave you Horrible animated moprags or you Retched little creatures...I intend to be around for awhile.
Will see you all in the morning on line, oh and yes they want me to drink lots of water, have they any idea what fish do in water....egads...
Goodly night for now...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
P.S. The old girl is fussing over me like one of the children...good grief...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hang in there Doug. Will put in a good word for you with the Man upstairs. Rodney Crowell released a song a number of years ago that I hope is very apt, "This Too Shall Pass". (no pun intended)
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

My wife and I will keep you in our prayers Doug.
And you let your bride fuss
You know she's just worried about ya!
FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Sounds to me like you've been drinking too many mixers and not enough alcohol Doug!

I'm sure you'll be fine Doug. After all, you have more stories to tell about bush flying, bug smashers and the old flying geezers at the bullshit table.

Goodly afternoon all...
Thanks for the well wishes....
Yesterday was no heck but today the pills have kicked in and am feeling better.
It is like a toothache and stomach ache combined but the pain is not as severe today. Wish they had given me pills that were like that IV...it worked fast and took all the pain away.
Well shall pop over to see what pictures you folks have been posting and leave a reply or two...
