When I first got GEX, I flew quite a bit in the area west of Calgary, from Canmore to Invermere and as far north as Kinbasket Lake.

I have not been back since I got FTX NRM, until now. I think it must be one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

I kinda like the $5 fast mover too. Roll Eyes (If you get the movie reference, give yourself a cookie.)

...

These next two shots depict the kind of beauty I was referring to.

...

...

I did not realize Calgary was in the NRM coverage area, bonus points ORBX. Smiley

...

Thanks for looking. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Yeah, you should, they work fine. I was up there earlier in the 185 and high enough that some of the area near the water looked a bit like swamp, (I know, in Canada?  Grin)

and I just had to land to find out. It wasn't, just grass.  Grin
