That's right, today's landing lesson will be on Saba. Better hang on to your shorts, this one is scary... You will judge on that last shot how close I came to falling off a big cliff  Shocked
Have fun!

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

You did it! Good Job and nice pics  Cool

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Thank you for the comments guys!
The scenery is made by FlyTampa, it is their St Maarten scenery. The full version includes, Princess Juliana (TNCM), St Barthelemy (TFFJ), and Saba. Great Caribbean scenery, and both St Bart and Saba are very challenging airport. I highly recommend this payware!

Very cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

If I ever find the solution to my texture problem, I might try it.
But right now, it would be a waste of money because SABA is very messed up. The weird thing, is the problems shift locations sometimes when I add something new. I have turned off every addon in my scenery library one at a time without finding the culprit. I'm fairly sure it is a corrupted file and probably in a mesh, but I have spent hours on three occasions trying to find it.  Sad

One of the best scenery packages money can buy yes, just a pity they did not do more of the surrounding islands in the same package.

Lovely shots, takes some skill to land the otter there.

Patchz,
I had a similar problem previously. The runway extended in the middle of the air, past the cliff, and just dropped down to the sea. I also had missing textures, and textures that would disappear and reappear depending on the view angles... I finally got tired of the many problems I was having, so I uninstalled FSX and all the addons, and reinstalled everything. Talk about a labor of love... It took me a while, but I got rid of the sceneries and aircraft I wasn't flying, made everything a lot less messy and a lot more stable. I haven't had any problems yet  Wink

I know it has to be done, but I have been avoiding it like the plague. As slow as I am, it will take me forever.  Undecided Sad  Grin
