I finished re-installing my FSX the way I wanted it to look like. I got to enjoy some pretty nice flights today so I'll be posting shots tonight, for your viewing pleasure and mine  Grin
Enjoy!

Very nice Pierre. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Thanks guys!
And yes, pretty happy with the new configuration, it is a lot more stable now... I'm glad it's over, I was experiencing FSX withdrawals...  Grin

Goodly morning all... Smiley

E-Gads...Oh my gosh...heaven help us...I think this is the big one old girl...call the Liquor Store and have a bottle of Scotch Whisky sent up... Shocked      Roll Eyes

Lovely shot Pierre...well done and here is a little info for you... Wink

What really surprises me is Larry never caught this one.... Grin

Your first shot shows the difference between EDO Floats and CAP Floats very well.
One can see the EDO Float which this DHC-2 Beaver is equipped with is easier to walk on than the rounded top CAP Floats.
The CAP Floats are more streamlined and handle rough water nicely but are a little tricky on glassy water.  I never had a problem with the good old EDOs in any water condition and that includes landing and taking off in heavy three and four foot waves on Georgian Bay in the DHC-3 Otter with a full load... Wink

Again well done Pierre on your DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver shots... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Great shots Pierre Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
