The first is that whenever I try to load my EC130 from the aircraft menu, my FS9 crashes. The second is whenever I try and start a flightplan and go to the map to adjust my FL ceiling, it freezes. HEEEEEEEEEEELLLP!!! I miss being able to use things. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am completely dumbfounded on these issues.  Embarrassed

Sounds like a module not correctly installed. For example; GaugeSound.DLL. More info would be helpful. Which EC130 is this? Has the problem just started happening?

If you post a link to the page the file is posted on someone can download it & check it out for you.

The EC130 I am referencing is the one by Antti Pankkonen. I hope that,s all it is. But yeah, that's the one I use.

Is this the one you mean? http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=ec130.zip&categoryId=&filename=...

I downloaded the file to check it out but can see no obvious reason why it would cause problems. Not tried it in FS9 until you confirm it's the correct file.

Has this EC130 worked for you until recently? Have you changed anything like installing a different panel?

This package was problematic for me also - loaded once then would freeze etc. when trying it again - in FS2004. I really was not surprized as it is a FS2002 offerring.

You may be able able to find a suitable chopper from the large selection available at Hovercontrol.com if you are interested.

Thank you Opa. I am glad to know I wasn't the only one. I am glad to see you again. It has been awhile since I have posted here. The one problem I do have however, is that there is, to my knowledge, no EC130 in Maverick helicopters paint other than this one and since I live in Las Vegas, it is good for realisim. But oh well. I did a little further experimentation with the Eurocopter - aliased the panel to the default Bell206 panel and it all seems to work properly now.

My guess is that the "gauge" which comes with the Europter package is the culprit.

You might want to try it yourself.

That is good news!

FS2002 gauges rarely (if ever) work properly in later versions.
