Hi guy's. I downloaded Thomas Ruth 727 advanced package. I really like it but cannot work out how to set the altitude in the Autopilot. If someone knows can you explain it for me. Thanks Kind regards Peedy

So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change Smiley

Hi Steve that's mighty good of you. If it helps I can find the Altitude/Altimiter guage but their is no knob for the Altitude adjustment. Look forward to your findings. Thanks Peedy (Peter).

Hi Steve thats further than I got. I managed heading as the adjustment is on the gauge. If the same adjustment knob was on the altitude gauge Id be away I think. How have you managed to select an altitude ? Thanks, your fast becoming my hero. Peter

Aside from having a Saitek Multi-panel, which is one of the best peripherals IMHO, this pic should help.  I just tried it and the panel has all the AP functions nearest I can tell.  You may also wanna cycle through the VC views til you get to the 2D panel, then click the icon with the little plane symbol.

Hope this helps! Smiley  Highlighted the 'good stuff'.

Hi Peter,

Look at the screenshot U4EA has done, on the 2d panel, the autopilot controls are in same layout.

The ALT hold was simply that, it wasn't a set Alt and go to it, it is hold Alt at whatever height you were when you selected it.

Ho, ho, ho thank you Steve and thank you U4EA. I guess I should have known but I'll give it a try. Perhaps when I become clever at this I might help you Guy's one day but don't hold your breath. Thanks once again Peedy (Peter)
