Many of you probably don't remember me... which I don't expect you too lol I was here for a short time before hockey got in the way. Now that I'm not playing anymore I have time to fly! And... over the past few years I've been slowly parting together a custom computer for myself so viola! I finally finished it, giving me the perfect opportunity to start flying again. Here are my specs to start

Quote:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 Callisto 3.2ghz 6mb L3 cache (successfully unlocked the 2 hidden cores using ASUS Turbo Key, runs super stable and idles around 32C with stock heat sync and some Arctic Silver 5)
Mobo: ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770 ATX (only 1 PCI Ex16 but it's fine with me)
RAM: A-Data 4gb (2x2gb) DDR3 1333 mhz (right now it's at 667 mhz but I'm going to tweak the timings later today)
PSU: Antec BP550 550watt ATX modular (I decided to keep it and it's been working like a charm!)
GFx: EVGA GTX 460 SE 1gb 256bit (Only tested Just Cause 2, can run at max with 8x AA and no GPU water simulation and get a super solid 30 FPS, quiet as anything too)
DVD: (2) Lite-On iHas424-98 24x DVD Burners with Lightscribe
HDD's: Boot drive - 80gb Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm (don't remember cache or model number)
Storage Drive - Samsung Spinpoint F3 500gb 7200rpm 16mb cache (I plan on getting another too)
Wireless: TP-LINK TL-WN781ND mini-PCI Express adapter up to 150mbps
Monitor: My primary is a HANNS-G HW-173ABB I got on the daily deals list, works great for me
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Now for some pictures (I still need to do some cable management)

I can play Mafia II on max settings and get around 50 fps and Just Cause 2 can get around 30 fps with some minor tweaks. Works like a charm! Couldn't be happier, hopefully I'll be upgrading my 2nd monitor, getting 2gb more of ram, and another 500gb hdd what not. Runs super stable with the unlocked cores and was able to throw it all together for under $900USD.

I also celebrated my 16th birthday this past February on the 9th Grin no... for those of you thinking I do have you know what, you can stay on the roads for a little bit longer. haha
