I recently installed a Gigabyte GTX560 Ti 1G and I've had nothing but problems with my sim. I'm running driver 266.66 and it won't allow me to install an older driver, so I guess I'm stuck with this one. Load times, for some reason, have dramatically increased. Once the textures appear it seems fine but if I hit F11 for an outside view the planes textures are blank and when I go back into the cockpit the interior and panel textures are blank. Gauges seem fine but no texture on the panel. I've played with the FSX.Cfg file to no avail. Check-out the screenies for an idea of what I'm talking about.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

It's just FSX that I'm having a problem with. Stalker now runs great with the new graphics card.

Thanks,
jime

What version of FSX are you running? Some textures are only compatible with SP2.

I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.

FSX Deluxe w/Acceleration and I'm currently running XP Pro32, will be switching to 7 Pro 64.
I've never had a problem this severe regarding textures before. The only recent change was the video card. I went from a XFX GTX260 216 to my current GTX560 Ti. I tried to revert back to an older driver but it won't allow me to install it. Says no hardware found. Go figure.

in fsx, are you trying to fly with "PREVIEW DX10" ?? If so, turn it off and see if that makes a difference.

XP Pro32 doesn't contain DX10, but thanks for the reply.
I think it's a card problem. Cry  I see that alot of people, especially with the Gigabyte 560 Ti, are having problems similar to mine in other games. Some games work wonderfully but others seem to have problems. Undecided
Thankfully, Stalker and Rise of Flight aren't one of them. Wink
I'll just have to wait for a driver update, hopefully. There's a Beta out but I don't think it'll help me.
My FSX runs great except when you change views you have to wait, a couple of minutes at times, for the textures to show. Then it's great flying. I'll post a few.

Sorta sucks, I just don't change views as frequently.
Oh well. It's better than no flying. Cheesy
