Some progress on my Hide Away Chalet project
I moved some things and added some stuff
These first two are just scenery on my approach...
The North end of Omak Lake......
Omak in the background.....
A little crosswind....you can see almost everything here....the chalet, charter office, bait shop, covered seaplane parking and heli-pads
This is Chucks' Charters.....they'll get you wherever you want to go....
Covered parking.....
As you can see, a few objects are from MoCats' outstanding Snow Dog Tours scenery, thank you Mr. Carel
Thanks 4 looking
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I thought it was great before, but this is even better.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Very nice set Chuck. Really looking forward to this scenery
FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

I'm going to try to wrap it up tonight.....probably upload after a copule days of testing.
If you'd like, I'll e-mail you what I've got so far. I could use some more input
It only works with FTX NRM though. Patterson Lake is not represented in the default FSX scenery.

Looks wonderful Chuck...keep up the great work...
I don't think or remember seeing a helicopter on floats here at simviation Chuck unless maybe a Bell 47.
But there one is in picture four...awesome...
And the final approach to landing was an awesome picture as well...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

The float helo is freeware from Nemeth Designs......I'm not sure if it's here at SimV or not.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait; I only have PNW (which I thought is where this is located).
