Can't wait to wring her out...great shot!
FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

You're welcome Bob. Cool shot btw.
If memory serves, which is debatable these days, Boikat turned me onto it.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Your memory serves, twas quite a few moons ago.
If my memory serves, equally debatable, it's on the FSNorthwest site.
Tis a cool peice though! I was bored one snowy day last December and did a Channel crossing in it......keeping it in a straight line above 90 was a challenge.

Your memory serves too, it was on FSNorthwest. But they are having problems and you have to log in to access the site. Even though my user name and password are saved and already entered when I go there, I can't log in.

Though I'd like to take the credit, I think someone else posted a shot. But, I've had several naps since then, and don't recall who it was.

Nap or no nap, until someone pipes up and says, "it was me", you're getting the blame.

Cool shot Bob.....nicely executed donut
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

THEN, I was under the influence of a previous poster on this one.

Totally worth the effort of your search.

Fortunately, I retired from that line of work in 1993.

I may be retired, but like Ozzy, I will never grow up.
My son usually introduces me to his friends that have not met me, as his friend Larry. "Oh btw, he's my Dad too."
We get a kick out of the looks on their faces.
And because I am into 'puters and GT4 and guns and cars and guitars, etc. I get along with all of them very well.
