(Greg) Grin Grin.......It's Charlie Brown or, Chuck Smiley
That's usually what my avatar is, I just liked this one of Snoopy and wanted to use it for a while Smiley

Repaint by patchz paint
Thanks Larry......it's awesome. I dried the paint flying from Stehekin State to Chelan Municipal, one of my favorite flights.....Charlie liked it, see him smiling Smiley

Lake Chelan is a narrow, 55-mile-long lake in Chelan County, northern Washington state, U.S. It is the largest natural lake in Washington state. The name Chelan is a Salish Indian word Tsi - Laan, meaning deep water.
Fed by streams from the Cascade Range, Lake Chelan has maximum depth of 1,486 ft (453 m), making it the third deepest lake in the country and the 24th deepest in the world. The surface of the lake is 1,098 feet (335 m) above sea level, while the average width of the lake is one mile.
The city of Chelan sits at the southeast tip of the lake, where its water flows into the Chelan River through the hydroelectric Lake Chelan Dam. At the northwest end of the lake is the town of Stehekin, where the town's namesake river, the Stehekin River, flows into the lake. The Stehekin is the lake's largest inflow stream. Access to the far end of the lake is limited to boat, float plane, or hiking. Lake Chelan State Park lies along the southern shore of the lake, and can be accessed from the city of Chelan by road. The northern portion of the lake is protected by Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. (From Wikipedia)

Shortly after take off from Stehekin State.....givin' Chuck the tour Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Great shots Chuck, especially the last two three. Smiley

It's one of my favorite areas too, but I haven't been there in a while. And you're welcome. Smiley

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.

Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.

It's been said but I will say it again.

Stunning shots, the paint on the bird goes well with the mood of the skies.
