Hi. I downloaded Flight Simulator X for Pilots. There are some video's that come with it. And they are listed in FSX:Options...play video. But when I go to play them it tells me that it can't open the file. I was wondering if someone can tell me what format FSX's video's will open with.

Thank you.

Hi roger, FSX video is stored as an fsr file in documents/Flight Simulator X.
To view the fsr file FSX should open and play it. I would check to see if the file is there in documents/FSX and that it actually has content in it. Other than that something in your system could be blocking the files from opening.
More on fsr files...

Thank you for the reply Steve. Appreciated. I thought at first they were files that I could watch on something like MVP. But when they wouldn't recognize the format, I boo bood and changed the extension. If I knew what extension MSX uses to play them I could change it back to that and it should work. I'll check out the link you sent me. Thanks again.
